Over the last month, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Workplace Options has had to meet the rapidly changing pattern of demands in order to continue providing our global services, ensuring that our participants are able to receive the essential help today and in the future.

This week has seen Workplace Options service centers operating remotely in thirteen countries and our Shanghai and Singapore teams returning to their office locations after a period of eight weeks of remote working. We are pleased to report that, despite significant daily fluctuations in call volumes and service demands across the world, WPO continues to maintain excellent service levels and response times for its clinical and work-life services. Our teams, supported by our global network and local partners, are delivering much-needed, timely support to thousands of participants each day.

During this unprecedented time, Workplace Options has sought ways to connect with our counseling network to best fit their needs and concerns.

We have begun implementing Video and Telephonic Counseling sessions as we have temporarily suspended face-to-face counseling services for the safety of our clients and our counselors.

Recently, we have launched group-based mindfulness sessions via live webinars.  We received an overwhelming response, with thousands of participants joining the 10-minute session offered in multiple languages and in different time zones.  In response to the positive feedback, we will continue this program weekly, for the foreseeable future.

Workplace Options would like to offer the free benefit of accessing these webinars, as well as a support hotline, to you as a member of our network of mental health counselors. The 24/7 support hotline provides one session with in-the-moment support from our internal WPO master-level clinicians. This will be offered in English, French, and Dutch languages. Please see attached document for the hotline phone numbers as well as links to register for a mindfulness session with our wellness team.

In addition to these benefits, our Internal Wellness Manager and Corporate Fitness Trainer, Lauren Lisko, has created an Exercise Library on YouTube. There are over 200 videos posted with brief instruction on how to perform exercises, all of which can be done at home with little to no equipment.
